Ohmygod, am I dreaming, is this a Nailstorming on a SUNDAY?? And the answer is yes, my week was kinda boring but inspiration showed itself so this mani was ready earlier than planned!
This week’s theme was the Half Moon. I must say it was a first for me and I wasn’t exactly drowning in ideas. And then I thought about doing some stamping and found exactly what I needed with my BP L010 plate from Née Jolie ! It has Aztec and ethnic patterns which are really nice ! As for the base, I opened for the first time in a year Essie’s Mint Candy Apple. I thought it was pretty much as good as dead but, what do you know, two thin coats of perfection ! I love just how durable some of Essie’s polishes are, I must have had this one since almost 4 years. I stamped using a basic black… and removed some parts of the pattern to just keep a half moon. Using top coat I made patches, the same way as with reverse stamping ! As for the accent nail, I used a reinforcer to create my golden half moon using Innisfree n°47 and hand drew the last details.
I like it sooo much!! I have no idea why I hadn’t worn mint in so long, it’s such a great color, and especially perfect for these past (well, okay not today but shhh) few sunny days!
See you soon for new polished adventures!
